Nothing is impossible. The word itself says ‘I’m Possible’! — Audrey Hepburn
Welcome to my first blog post at Wild Flamingo Marketing!
I’ve done a ton of blogging for all types of companies, but this is my first post that is truly mine!
For this first post, I’m going to pretend to interview myself (ha!) so you can quickly get an understanding of what this blog is all about, and what topics will be covered in the future.
- Why am I blogging? Short answer, because I love writing. I’ve always wanted a blog, but when you work in the corporate world and “life” sometimes gets in the way, it can be hard to prioritize. Longer answer, I’m starting a business and blogging is a great way to demonstrate my brand, my capabilities as a writer, and drive traffic to my site. (Much more about the benefits of blogging for business later!)
- Who am I? I’m a professional marketer, passionate about helping small businesses grow. In my professional experiences at larger companies, it’s hard enough to work within a budget to produce the leads and buyers needed to meet the business’s goals for growth. As a small business, resources like a website, social media campaigns, and content can appear to be out of reach – with not enough time or money to spend on these things. I want to help small business owners gain access to resources they need for their companies to succeed.
- Why would someone read my blog? If you are a small business owner looking for marketing advice, you’ll find this blog valuable. I’ll talk about how to grow your business without spending a lot, demonstrate how you (yes you) can become more knowledgeable about marketing, and give real-world examples of how investing in marketing can help you meet your business goals.
- Who should read my blog? Small business owners that want to grow. Maybe you are just getting started, or maybe you’re stuck on what do to next. I hope to offer great ideas and insights on how to take your business to the next level!
I appreciate comments, questions, and suggestions! I also welcome guest bloggers and content suggestions. Feel free to reach out at Kelly@wildflamingomarketing.com.
